Time for a spring fling with an Old Pal.

In times of transition, even when we are looking forward to a new adventure, we cannot help but hold onto familiarities from our past. Whisky is traditionally a cold weather spirit but every once in a while whisky pairs well with a summertime spirit. The Old Pal, a spirit that combines rye whisky with the tartness of Campari and comes together with a splash of dry vermouth is a great choice for this time of year. Regardless of whether you are looking forward to the tastes of summer or saluting the spirits of seasons past this prohibition era cocktail seems to have been properly named The Old Pal.
